The furniture ranges from rustic Cottage Farm-house style, to Sheraton, Federal, Queen Anne, Eastlake, Victorian and more, most with original paint and finishes intact. There are excellent examples of the region's case goods furniture, in the form of spool chests, apothecaries, map chests and cupboards. Jenny Lind trunks, salt-glazed urns, ceramic crocks, jugs and iron pots and hearth tools hold the floor, while quality folk art, paintings, weather vanes, figural silhouettes, antique pull-toys, antique Shaker baskets, quality folk art, general-store packaging, tins & accessories, hooked rugs on stretchers, brass lighting, thickly-framed mirrors, copper pots and wooden utensils hang on the walls and from the ceiling. Harken back to a time when planks were hand-hewn, wool was spun by hand and nails were individually pounded from iron.
